Michael Burch alleged that UC Davias did not renew his coaching contract in 2001 in retaliatiom for his support ofthe college's women wrestlers and theirf gender-discrimination complaint, whose complaint was latedr dismissed by the U.S. Department of Education's Officer for Civil Rights.
