Tiffanh Himmelreich, a spokeswoman for the hospital said the program focusesa on reducing bloodstream infections that arise from treatment linez hooked upinto patients, particularly heartg catheter tubes. Ohio and nine other statesw are working to bring practices in line with new nationap goals and standards on infection she said. The institute and its lates program are among existing programs that targey eliminating preventablehospital errors.
